Our Client, a Global Player in Consumer Goods (worldwide leading manufacturer of plastic home and outdoor products), is looking for a
Home Office based, ideally areas Frankfurt/Mainz, Köln/Dortmund, or South of Germany.
The position reports directly to Sales Director DACH.
Supports the Sales Director to achieve the agreed company sales and net margin targets and new business targets for Retailers DIY customers based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Supports the Sales Director to develop and achieve agreed sales growth and net margin targets for each account controlled through regular contact and communication with the customer.
Assists in the development and implementation of local product range, pricing and promotional strategies and plans to achieve budgeted sales growth and net margin targets.
Participates in the negotiation of trading terms to achieve net margin targets within authorization limits, as per annual National account plans.
Prepares presentations to review and monitor business performance, new products, new listings and promotional activity to ensure growth of the account portfolio.
Cooperates closely within the rest of the DACH team, as well as with other departments of the international group such as Customer Service, Supply Chain and Marketing.
Reviews with the Sales Director the strategic development of each account to plan growth of both existing and new products. Monitors and steers the execution of planning, budgeting, order flow and shipping in close exchange with the relevant operational teams and the Sales Director DACH.

Flexibility to travel to customers and to office sites within DACH region and EU
At least a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Sales;
At least a first successful experience in sales preferably gained within the consumer goods/home products related to DIY retail market in DACH within an international/export environment or retail organization;
Good IT skills. Ability to leverage systems such as Excel, Power point and SAP.
Native German and fluent in English is mandatory
Full clean Driving Licence
